I'm not sure how the cornering lights would perform if a xenon bulb was used, because mine come on quickly, but dim slowly when the wheel is turned straight ahead. Do xenon bulbs dim without damage?

Bodsy, I thought the corner lights were something like a 35W H8 bulb, not a H11 as per your link - could be wrong - often am!Mark.

AAA - they are the front lights that turn on whn cornering - its the light next to the side light if you have them.
Bodsy/Angel - manual say an H8- so would these work ? ( obviously it says they arent legal )

Mark, you are correct
I'd been looking at the main beam light upgrade which is H11.
The correct one for cornering light (as Rob has also pointed out) is the H8 bulb.
I would consider upgrading to these xenon looking bulbs, which are road legal.

Now its getting darker for longer, the cornering lights are more visible. But now the flashing has started, this is from other cars that get a blast of the cornering light.
This mainly happens when waiting to turn right from a major road onto a minor. There is always somebody unhappy with getting the H8 light in their eyes & they either flash or toot their horns.
So brighter ones would probably be better, just to them off more if anybody complains, they are a feature of the car & are supposed to be that bright

They're probably flashing because they think you've got your front fog lights on, I've done it myself to a few Mercs and others till I realised they're cornering lights - same as mine has Clive

It's what Lightforces are for, to show them what a real light is like
