@Bodsy,

I have also been looking to upgrade the cornering lights. Not to Censored off other drivers but to get more light on the road. More light = more safety is my motto.

Personally I don't think LED is the way in this case since the throw of LED lights isn't quite upto the throw of halogen lights. I agree that real xenon will probably not handle the quick swithing and dimming of the cornering lights, as I've discussed with Ian of hids4u. So, these H8 55W bulbs may actually do the trick...

Since the original bulbs are H8 35W I wonder if the electronics of the car that control the cornering lights can handle 55W. At 12V the additional 20W is some 1.7A additional current. Wouldn't this fry the electronics?

Has anyone actually upgraded to these H8 55W bulbs and had them without problems for a good number of months / years?
