Corner Lamp

Corner Lamp

Hi
one of my corner lamps / bulbs (left side) has stopped working. suspect blow bulb. can any tell me reference for replacement bulb, and procedure to replace?

the corner bulbs in the front light units are standard 501 5w units
you can get them in any motor factors
Halfrauds do all the less ones etc for the hoodie wearers!!!

procedure
raise bonnet
remove front grille (yes really) very easy to do
four clips on top press down and pull slightly
grab lower half of grille
yank sharply!!!!
done

clips on lights there are two of them
use your finger if you don't like them!!!
better to use pipe wrench
pull them up about 3/4 of an inch
pull lamp unit out

get a worktop
lay down a soft towel/cloth
get any 7 mm nut spinner or socket
remove clip bracket
remove cover under bracket
pull out connector for bulb
careful you don't wiggle too much
bulb can come lose and drop into lamp unit
(if that happens...... try and wiggle the lamp unit to send the bulb into opening to allow the bulb to drop into the housing cavity. (had to do it twice!!!!)
fit build

TIP: connect to car and ensure bulb is working before re assembly

reverse above

i know it probably sound a lot of steps
last one i did took 10 mins tops.
