Coolant issues,
My 2006 TDV6 has got quite a few bubbles coming up from bottom of the header tank.
No mayo in cap, no mayo on dipstick. Runs well but the bubbles and apparent pressuring are forcing water out and then it loses too much and appears to over heat on gauge.
Could this be one of the EGR coolers? Or head gasket and I need to take engine out and fit a 4th

You could bypass the egr coolers to find out.
Best if they are blanked, as it is likely to melt the top of the engine if you run it for long and get it red hot.
Fit the 4th?

Thanks. They are blanked so will look at bypass tomorrow. I’ve just fitted this engine from a breaker. This is the third engine it’s had. Crank broke on me after 2 months of use after I bought it. So if this engines toast, will need to fit another

Is there any warranty on the engine from the breaker?
