Coolant inlet connector change |
|
Hi all, last week I changed out the coolant inlet connector on my D3. Not a common failure point like the coolant outlet at the top of the engine, but my D3 has nearly 370,000km on it so its just a case of old plastic parts in the cooling system. I think its worth looking at this as a preventive changeout over 250,000km or maybe every second change of the top outlet conector (or if you have the body off for any reason). Anyway heres the removal video - will have the install vid up next week.

Jag owners need to do this sometimes.
No fun on a jag.
