Cool Box - warm pop

Blast, no cold bubbly. Big Cry Cool box not often used, yesterday put it on, little blue lamp on, humms away to itself, but 1/2 hour later still no cooler, not a bit. (car in motion during this time, standard HSE spec BTW). Never actually used much, but I'm sure it used to get cool quite quickly.

Anyone any ideas ?

It's probably the UK-only spec version - "designed for warm beer."

Hmm, I do like a drop of Black Sheep now & again, however, no sign of any seeping coolant etc. - I would expect these things to be solid state (thermo electric) though - but in that case what the whirring noise ? a fan ?

Warranty job anyway, so it'll get looked at in a bit (4 tyres probably, only 4mm left)
A mystery though, as well as a niggle.

You can remove the console around the gear lever very easy ( small torx screw by the EPB ) and pull upwards ...

Then theres a few screws holding the cool box in ...

The good old 'technical thump' often worked on the old Amstrad 1512/1640 computers. Remember, these are the ones that you had to use dos command PARK before switching off Thumbs Up

DATA ERROR READING DRIVE 'C' was a common message. Usually fixed by hitting the case quite hard 8)

Ahhhh - the Amstrad 9512, we had one of these and the daisy wheel printer was so loud that it needed to go in a sound-proof foam box that came with it! Happy times!
