Confusion Over Brake Parts.......Help!
I've complied D4 brake parts to do an upgrade on my D3 but now I'm doubting I have the correct parts!
When I bought the Calipers I was told they were off a 3.0 D4 which I have no reason not to believe!
On the AF website the only differences between "front brakes all air suspension models VIN EA000001 ONWARDS" and "front brakes 3.0 TDV6 to VIN DA999999" are the splash shields, disc retaining bolts and caliper carriers.
Which shields, carriers and bolts should I be going for? The carriers came with the calipers I bought but I have no way of knowing which they are! There is numbers on them but they don't relate to any part numbers I can find!
Any help would be greatly appreciated

from the diagrams, it may just be an upgraded back plate which maybe to suit different wheels

Yeah that's a possibility, seems strange that the carrier has a different part number also!
I'll give Advanced Factors a call Monday and see if they can shed any light on it!
