Well today i thought that i would open up the compressor housing to give it a clean out and general look to see if all was ok.
Well wish i hadn't, when i opened it i was firstly showered in a load of mud and crud, no probs i thought. But on closer inspection i notice that the compressor has a lot of movement, the bracket had broken along the bottom bend. 
I checked the casing for any damage but couldn't see anything that would point to off road damage, the compressor was hanging by the top rubber mount so was semi secure. I took the part number of the bottom of the bracket and then checked on here on how easy it would be to change.
Popped down to the dealers and luckily they had the part in and even got a discount.  So fully armed with a bit of knowledge i proceeded to strip out the old bracket and replace with new. What a pain in the a  se job that was. Definately need a third arm and the hands of a very small child. Forgot to take any photo's of the process. The top bolt was a right un to get in.
