Compact Two Post Ramp Query - Body Removal

Hi Folks looking for a bit of info from anyone that may have a two post compact ramp, slightly less wide than standard and lower height to fit into a shed with a low roof.

considering buying one to upgrade my current mid rise scissor lift and wondering if its possible to remove the body of a disco with one, as in will the arms reach the points on the body to lift it off with being slightly less wide than a standard two post ramp

Distance between arms on compact is around 2200mm and normal is around 2550mm

https://www.twinbusch.co.uk/2-post-lifts/B...::278.html

Above is the model i was looking at.

interested to find out if anyone has used a compact two post to remove a body before i commit to purchasing

Thanks
Martin

I think the people on the lrtime YouTube channel have a two post ramp outside their home that they use in many of the episodes. You could ask them for their experiences.

Not sure if this is helpful or not.

I would have said it will, you only need to get the lift pads onto the sills to lift the body off.

My 2 poster isn’t that much wider than the discovery itself, can measure the distance between the posts next Saturday when I’m at my workshop.

How low ?

I'd guess that the lift is fine, but if you have a low roof you'll want to check there's actually enough height to get the body clear ! The car's over 6' as it stands and you must need at least 2' (?) to get it clear of stuff ? So fag packet maths your shed needs to have a clear 9' headroom. Preferably more.

Yeah the height is ok i can get the mid rise scissor lift to almost full height with the disco on it so will have enough clearance it was more the sill access i was concerned about with being less wide.

No problem I’ll get the dimensions at the weekend, but in the meantime here is a picture on my D3 on my two poster.
