The end result. A bit of a dull day, doesn’t make it pop as much
Looks absolutely superb
Know exactly what you mean by 'making it your own'.
I even get a similar feeling after it's been in for a service.
Must get mine done properly, not done it since bought 4 years ago and the paintwork feels like sand paper.
Got all the stuff [incl Gliptone leather conditioner], just not had the time / right weather.
But monthly, I do always use a new Gliptone 'leather' air freshener. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Yeah, unless the paint feels smooth as glass I’m never happy with it!
The wheels aren’t staying on it. I don’t like silver wheels, got another set to go on in dark grey.1998 Defender 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF

Finally got my Defender alloys on. These are the 20” grey wheels from the XDynamic model. Had these on a couple of cars now.
Also had to swap the tyres as the 275/55/20 Grabber AT3 tyres rubbed so have gone back to standard size and trying something totally new, Goodyear Eagle f1 Asymetric. A pure road tyre as I did 90% on road anyway.
Here’s a photo to show you the look. (Love these wheels- and so easy to clean!)

I run 18" Compomotives on mine with large ATs that only just clear the arches. They ride fairly well on the road, but I have thought of another set for summer or long road trips but until seeing your Defender wheels with Eagle F1s, haven't seen anything that I liked enough to warrant the cost and hassle of two sets. Food for thought!
The Disco looks great!

I also have a set of Terrafirma 30mm spacers which I would have fitted straight away however, the extra offset of these wheels sticks them out a tad more than the stock D4 wheels so I’m getting used to the look.
The spacers can sit on the shelf a bit longer.1998 Defender 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF
