They do seem to be there, but look at the cars shaddow to discover the truth......... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Still not convinced its the right way to go for us minority of owners that take then off road and down narrow country lanes though.
I think the painted trim helps LR do a facelift at minimal cost, and also reinforces the 'urban' look of the vehicle for the on-road market.
i.e. it looks like a Toyota or Mitzy!
I've seen one shot of a new look white Disco 3 - didn't like it at all, looks like a Japanese produced white blob IMHO.

I'm maybe wrong but I see the above one as more likely to be silver and tinted by the white reflections of the snow rather than a 'real' white D3?2007 Porsche Boxster (987) 2.7

Thats a white one Chris... and yes DG it looked rather good did it not
Looks rather good outside too in the gloom of a British summer's day too. I think Slimer needs to get his painting set out.

Hey, if it looks better in the tin, then I'll be a happy camper

That looks really good in white! I think it looks better than the unpainted arches and personally don't see a problem with taking it off-road.
Other, more hard-core off-roaders than the disco have had body coloured wheel arches for years and it doesn't stop them going off-road.
Can't wait to see one in the flesh!

I don't find it too offensive, smack on front it can look quite good, but I still can't accept the back bumper with a pointy little section painted and the rest plastic. It's not bold and solid looking like everything else. It looks wrong from the side and awkward from the back. Still, not the end of the world.

Makes it look somehow lighter at the back and less heavy on the road. Not a great fan myself but its probably better to look at and more acceptable for those luddites that hate huge 4x4's.

White FFRR and RRS are everywhere here - all the rich locals drive them.
Not as many white D3's, although I do think it's a great color because of the contrast with the plastics - really doubting it will look as good in the all white MY09... the rangies at least have those silver door handles and grilles to break the monotony.
Also, white is the easiest color to keep clean - it will take MUCH longer to show that it's dirty.
