I've had my black D3 done and with the A Bar and auxiliary lights on to break up the front I think it looks O.K.. I had to have the front bumper replaced due to an impact with a brace of pheasants. I thought that they'd only pushed the foglamp in but it turns out the plastic the foglamp mounts on is moulded into the whole bumper. Anyway LR paint the centre section of the bumper so while the bodyshop guys had paint mixed I got it done. £400 cash on top of the insurance claim.

I do like the Bonatti Grey mirrors though - I'd have that done.

The full paint treatment seems appropriate to tie in with 20"+ wheels, smoke glass and, no doubt, spinners and neon cill tubes; some people like a glammed-up Urban Assault Vehicle - de gustibus non disputandam est.
Since the mirrors are the part of my vehicle that come into contact with the hedgerows the most, I'd like a full metal jacket on them, rather than a shiny paint job. Perhaps I should have bid on those chrome covers on ebay last month...Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
