Just tried this... I had to line up the 2 dots then push UP and both mirrors folded in! Great! 08XS.

Put the adjuster knob in the Center position. So it's between the two dots that indicate left and right mirror. Then just push knob in a downward direction.

Hmm, there aren't 2 dots, but there are 2 buttons labelled L & R, and the adjuster knob doesn't move down...
probably means mine doesn't have it.--

It must move down or you would not be able to adjust your mirrors downward.
Rotate left/right mirror selector knob to the center position so it's not on left mirror, not on right mirror, but between them, then push knob down as you would to lower the mirror if repositioning it.

Brilliant
Can't believe I have been so dozy
On my 2nd Disco 4 and only just realized I could fold the mirrors manually by pressing the L&R buttons together after reading this thread
well you learn something new every time you read the forum !!

He‘s a bit annoyed with me now that we‘ve only just found it after all this time
Any other hidden stuff?
3 years I've had my Disco and just found the rear cup holders
After reading your post and climbing into the truck to take it for a wash thought I'd look for rear seat cup holders, my son being a second row occupant says no cup holders in the back....... But to all surprise they were there but grubby as never been used for a very long time I'd expect.
It's great finding something new.
Thanks

They fold, they also dip, since programming the drivers seat
Just noticed my mirrors dip when I go into reverse. Seems to have started since programming the seats! At first I thought it was a fault, stick it in reverse to get off the drive and notice the mirrors are dipped, curse, accept that is minor, fix them and then reverse out but noticed in a car park today they dip when going into reverse and then back to programmed position when going into drive!
Perhaps you all know this already but if not and you just accept the normal seat position without saving a setting, give it a try, feels good!
