Codes due to cold?

Today driving in -22 I got the dreaded bong sound, a suspension fault message on the IPC display and the yellow suspension fault light on the dashboard showed up. Big Cry

There were no noticeable issues and the car was in normal ride height. I was driving approximately 80 km/h at the time. I pulled the codes and got the following information:

Suspension

C1131-92 ( 6C ) Air supply - Component failure - performance or incorrect operation

Since this is dated today I assume this is the problem that raised the suspension fault message. It did not happen again when I restarted the vehicle. The car successfully lowered to access, rose to normal and off-road and back to normal ride height. I’ve never seen this code before.

I also noticed the following codes:

Ventilation

B1B74-00 ( 28 ) Front foot-defrost mode stepper actuator
B1B75-00 ( 28 ) Front foot-face mode stepper actuator
B1B76-00 ( 28 ) Front left air blend stepper actuator
B1B77-00 ( 28 ) Front right air blend stepper actuator

Would anyone know what these really mean? These were triggered a few days ago. There is hot air coming out from the vents and it doesn’t seem like there is anything obviously wrong. These also vanished when I cleared the codes and didn’t come back when I restarted and put the blowers on full.

Any advice would be highly appreciated. Thumbs Up

These occur after you have cranked the engine with a low battery

Thanks Pete - I’ll keep a watch on battery and alternator, then. The battery is roughly 6 months old but it was really, really cold that day. With IID the voltage supplied ignition off/on looked good when I pulled the codes.

Hasn’t happened since and it’s now up to -4 - doubt it’ll go down to -20 anymore this spring. I’ll put both on the account of cold.

Summer is coming, slowly. Thumbs Up
