Coach stripe / pin stripe
I'm thinking of adding a thin red coach stripe / pin stripe to my new D4 and wondered if anyone had any pics of how this has been done before. Looks fab on our Range Rover, but the groove on the side of the Discovery flattens out over the doors, so not sure how this will look / can be done.
Ideas welcome.2016MY Landmark + RSE

have it done in vinyl, that way of you don't like it you can have it removed easier

I gues logical place is above the wheel arches - but then you have the interupted crease
Personally, I think that fact alone would make it would look pants, but you might want to buy one of the cheap self adhesive boy race stripes and see what you think?

Here's a Baltic Blue D4 with a Photoshopped red stripe to give you an idea of what it may look like.

Excellent work! Was going to do that myself, but don't have the car yet. Will be a 3mm width, so pretty thin. Vinyl is the way forward, not paint.2016MY Landmark + RSE

Why would you want to devalue and make a 40k+ car look cheap by adding a red coach stripe ? leave it alone.
OPPS did i say that out loud lol

Imho it makes the car look dated. Maybe choice of red as a colour.
if I was going that route I think I'd look at a dark contrasting stripe along the doors in line with bonnet and rear crease, but not along the crease or bonnet. Just my tuppence worth.Tony

I believe that you can still get furry dice, black & white checkered tape and nodding dogs to really complete the image.

Excellent. I wasn't sure if the parcel shelf / cargo cover would support a nodding dog. Good to know!
