Just had my car recovered by LRA
Judder on the clutch, burning smell on low speed manoeuvres on inclines. Then my pedal locked down and then sprung back up.
Looking now on the site I've seen the TSB 308- 001
Only 14000 miles on the clock and 6 weeks into ownership and I've had to have £1000's of work done on the waranty already!!! Will be extending mine when the time comes.
Still love the car "its probably a virus, you'll be right as rain in a few days and if you're playing sport try to favour the other leg"

A customer may report a concern of one or more of the following symptoms:
This bulletin has been re-issued to include a closing VIN.
Strong odors from under vehicle when, or after, a slow speed maneuver (e.g. difficult parking maneuver), especially when on gradients.
Clutch slip.
The clutch pedal has stuck in the downward position or not releasing fully.
Difficulty in engaging gears.
Cause: The clutch drive plate lining material is not tolerant to high heat inputs caused by slipping, becomes soft and is then damaged beyond recovery even when it has cooled.
Action: Should a customer express concern regarding the above, refer to the Service Procedure detailed in this bulletin to renew the clutch assembly.
Manual transmission vehicles only VIN-range: 5A300394-7A422271
Looks like I'll be going for this too - had a little issue with it at Salisbury, and it's getting worse. The clutch is slow disengaging when I depress the pedal, causing the engine to start to stall if I'm decelerating. Smells a bit too..... Disco 5 HSE Lux

We had exactly the same thing happen this morning. Car stalled whilst crossing a dual carriageway. SWMBO was pretty quick getting it going again, especially as it is very difficult to get into 1st and 2nd.
