Just had first service, only faults have been Radio crashing out and hard to engage first and reverse gears,dealer phoned to say the clutch has been replaced, is this unusual for such low miles (14000)? but now Ive got the car back there is a bloody awful burning smell from the engine bay (just like burnt clutch!!!),dealer sez hold fire smell will go!!!!!!!!!!! must admit not as bad now than first car is perfect otherwise ::

There is a TSB on the clutch. Some early D3 clutches were found to be sticking and causing this smell. Replacement is a heavy duty version.
I'd wait as they say and see if the smell goes.
Still, strange that the smell has started post the new one

I had the same problem with the burning smell after my clutch was changed. However after a few days it did disappear so i wouldn't worry too much 2018 D5 3.0 HSE Lux
1x D3, 4 D4's - All gone
