clockspring?

found out on Wednesday that my cruise control "-" button randomly does "+" instead of "-" but chiefly does SFA.

Is it a matter of a good clean required or, as I'll have the aggro of taking everything apart then putting back together, just get a replacement?

Or just get used to "cancel - wait - set" as the method of reducing cruise speed? Laughing

Definitely don't leap to the clock spring until you've removed the switch and cleaned up the wires - simple job and doens't take at all long.

I had exactly the issue you describe and removing, cleaning and refitting cured it. Not seen a problem in two years (until tomorrow, clearly... Whistle )

I followed a post on the forum on 'how to'. I'll see if I can find it and re-post.

Here's my question that seems similar; I followed Narpy's advice: https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/disco-3-cru...73755.html

Could be the wires in the wheel as per the D3 issue you get where there is a small break

I have a similar question that I never got round to asking... my right hand horn button only works from the middle down. Broken switch or could this be wires too?
