Clicking noise from left hand side maybe rear

It would appear in he unwelcome noise coming from the Disco 4. Similar to the old spokey dokey or playing card rattling the spokes on your bike. Gets faster as you speed up. Wheels are not hot at all no obvious movement side to side neither . Any clues it’s loud enough to hear at low speed and people turning round to see what it is . Any ideas ?? Can see a trip to the Indy for a look see.

A stone on your tyre tread?
And if you run AT's, with bigger spacing between the blocks means you pick up bigger stones, equals bigger noise.

Also, have you shone a torch or run your hands around the inner walls of your wheels/tyres to check if anything is fouling - could be a bit of debris picked up from the road and jammed somewhere.
...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Funnily enough I had this before and it was a stone but it was fairly big to fit in between the tread. Anyway Whilst clambering around on the drive underneath I did pull out a small stone from the tyre, rear near side, it could well be the culprit. Will take it for a drive again and see if all quiet !! It did seem to just appear which would fit the bill ??!!

Had the Mrs sit in the back and the noise is defo from the rear near side. Don’t think it’s a wheel bearing , CV joint is not split. Could it be the handbrake on that side ?? Have to say when I first heard it I thought it was a flat tyre. It was like a slap slap sound, however it quickens as you speed up!!?

Silly question maybe, but does it stop making the noise if you turn the ac / heating off completely?

Not tried that, however posted my video on a Facebook group and it was suggested some spring is bust on the handbrake at that side. Also to clarify SWMBO then fessed up that the epb would not release the other day. Then it did eventually....... longer delay than normal. It’s booked into a local garage for a look and hopefully a fix.

The sound is similar to a train travelling along the track !! Choo choo:-)

Well car went into a local garage and eventually found the clicking noise, it was a spring clip. However it’s gone from bad to worse, parking brake is screeching now. Car still at the garage they are going to look at it tomorrow. Have this sinking feeling the module is now toast Sad

Well all’s good in the world again ! The local garage came good ! However I will not be attempting to do the rear discs . Will let someone else feel that pain ! Too much to go wrong !
