How to Clean Your D3 Willy's Way
1. Get SWMSBO to collect a car wash ticket at the same time as she is collecting your Sunday paper.
2. Have SWMSBO make you a proper coffee in your land rover thermal mug
3. Make sure SWMSBO wraps your bacon sandwich in silver foil....neatly.
4. Drive to local carwash take dogs in the boot for added entertainment.
5. Join the queue at car wash, deliberately pull up as close behind little old lady in renault as you can, raise suspension.
6. Eat bacon buttie and drink coffee ignore people beeping their horns as the queue infront disappears.
7. Annoy the lartle man that pre-washes the car by only winding down the drivers window a rizzlas width to pass him the ticket Do not make eye contact!
8. Have the car in access mode whilst he washes the wheels, when he turns round to get his windscreen brush raise the car too normal height.
9. When he has to lean on the wing to reach the windscreen, berate him suitably for scatching your car with the zip on his coveralls wind the window up as he attempts to reply.
10. When he turns round to put his brush back in his bucket raise the car to offroad height.
11. Watch the man struggle to find how to reach the roof ariel to unscrew it.
12. When the man goes to get his step ladder lower the car to access height, look suitably aloof and read paper.
13. Drive into the machine bay too fast reach out and hit the button to start the car wash as the man comes fwd to turn it on for you, snigger like muttley as he gets wet.
14. Drive off with no acknowledgement, complain to SWMSBO, that the bacon was cold.

Same method as you're doing but much faster Dunc Dr. Ian Malcolm:

Ah, summer approaches. I'll be getting the Dodojuice banana armour out for the bi-annual scrubbing then I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

What is this "washing" of which you speak?
Its what my dealer does whenever there a 'warranty issue' that I have suddenly found needs sorting
Handy post Boughrood
Seriously, they do a decent job inside and out whenever I pop her in for anything
Only washed it myself a couple of times since I had it nearly 15 months ago.
