CJB Fuse access Question

Has anyone with a D4 yet needed to access the in-car fuse box? I was wondering whether there was any design improvement in the access to those darned little blighters that could be retrofitted to a D3?

Transgenic tomato anyone?

Is it the one behind the lower glove box? If so I will try to get time to have a look tonight.

If it's not moved, then yes, that one. Thanks! Thumbs Up

Top Tip: I found a pair of surgical clamps, they're like long scissors that lock together, they're good for getting fuses out on my D3. Mr. Green

Seriously hope the D4 fuse box is a better design though - I've lost a few fuses into the depths of the dash, with no chance of recovering them

I have a pair, but can't always get my hand in to use them at the angles required ; top tip for anyone though Thumbs Up Mine are curved too; I thought that'd make them perfect. I suspect what we need is one of those keyhole surgery jobbies with the camera at the tool tip. That'd probably work OK in the space provided...

Looks the same as the D3. Drop glove box, fuse box is located on the left next the blower motor in a vertical layout. Still difficult to get fuses out. Will try to get a photo i the next few days.

Thanks Russell, no need; sounds like nothing has been done to make it any more sensible. Thanks for your time Thumbs Up
