had my car chipped by turbochip on wed this week and wow!!!!!!!!! is about all i can think to say.well thats all apart from to say what a top man alister is.
one piece of advice to give would be to stretch your short arms into your deep pockets and find out about the monster under your bonnet.

I'm gunna get some stick ere.
But someone told me that after chipping car's there's a possible chance that after 18 months the engine moans saying the oil can't keep up the pace of the fuel being pumped around so fast or something like that.
Iwould like to know the pro's & con's of the matter of someone who has had previous chipped cars as this has never been discused this issue to my knowlage.

Guess it's a bit soon to say, but any view on fuel consumption. A lone Disco in the land of the Cayenne.

its transformed the car, theres pulling power from the very start
and when the turbo comes in it strong raw power like you wouldn"t
belive.
as for mpg it was 23.8 tis now 22.9 after 120 miles of mixed roads
mostly gunning it.

Jon, i guess Alistair means you used Northampton, is this a s/w programme or hard chip swap or add on module? had an upgrade on teh Leon Cupra R (280bhp) and thought it was a bit edgy, i hope 3 tonnes of D3 calms the effects down. TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue and still smiling

I wont give you any 'stick' but I'd rather you back up your comments with some hard evidence otherwise it borders on scare mongering.
I've have also heard that there is a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow and that if you pull a face in a strong wind it'll stay that way 
250 TDV6 engines have had the TC 'treatment' to date with well over 120 being done at main dealers on brand new cars.
TC has just been 'chosen' as the official upgrade supplier to LR in Greece and it will be sold via main dealers....come on LR UK....we'll do you a good deal Money talks.Sex sells.Mud sticks.Time flys.  happens.People talk.Impressions last!

yes it was a s/w upgrade
no it has"nt mad the car edgy, i think you would need to infuse drugs into a two ton car to do that
not edgy but feels like raw power in yer back from 1 to 6 and beyond
anyway time for more fun at the lights

I guess what Kaney is asking is do you have any details on possible problems over time of chipped engines (obviously the TDV6 in particular). He's only saying he's heard rumours of them giving up after a while.
What would be better is to know how long they've been running with your modifications. The D3 has only been out just over a year but the TDV6 has been around in similar forms a bit longer and I guess you've modified them too, what's the oldest chipped one you're aware of?
On a separate but related note..... It's sensible with any engine to do regular oil changes and maintenace I guess with ones that have been modified in the way you do it is even more important as they're likely to be worked harder, do you recommend any changes from the manufactures standard servicing after an engine has been chipped?

Iwas going to have mine chipped but i was put off and until a long term review is done then i will hold back for 18 months or so as i want to keep my car for at least 5yrs. simple

Sorry to go off topic  but I noticed you said that you had a Leon Cupra R chipped to 280bhp......

Listers Coventry supplied it as a power chip with a full warranty, it was great fun but just made the car manic and thats compared to a previous Audi S4 avant a ran with twin turbo and 270BHP.
i am just keen to keep yhe lazy but powerful delivery with a chip and not get a raging on/off type feel to progress TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue and still smiling
