I know Gary & the team only started back last week, so may be wading thier way through emails.
Might be best to give them a call, I am up thier on Tuesday for a de-cap pipe to be fitted, I will mention it to them.
was it a PM from the site or one to the info@td5alive address?
er it was a pm from this site - tbh, I have not really had much time to follow-up but I will try to.Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond
Sadly Gone : MY08 D3 TDV6 HSE : Stornoway + Alpaca + Privacy + BAS Remap
Is there any increase in smoke afterwards? Mine currently doesn't smoke, and I rather like it that way, though a bit more go would be nice, particularly to reduce/remove the lag.Mark.

no smoke increase. you can use additives and decent fuel to reduce smokeThere's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song
Hi having previously having my mondeo chipped by Bluefin and still having the handheld module...was thinking of sticking with Bluefin for my Disco as I can pay less and have the remap downloaded....anyone use the Bluefin remap on their disco?

my new year present to myself is going to be a remap... currently trying to decide between the BAS interface and the Alive Tuning.
in my view the BAS unit probably has more installations and hence a better bet but the AT unit is a lower price and they do have a very good track record... I'm not sure how much difference there is in real life though. I did PM Alive Tuning a couple of days ago for more information but am still waiting for a reply...
I e-mailed Alive months ago and never got a reply despite being an old customer with my Td5. BAS looking good to me

If it smokes after re-map that means that it has been over tweaked in the wrong part.
Mine gives out a little bit of smoke but that is my own doing as I wanted as much as possible at the lower end, so can pull away quicker from junctions etc & also I now have the de-cat pipe.
With regards Td5, I always find it best to give them a call
Sorry, I forgot to mention about your email, got caught up talking about development of sports exhausts, more efficant intercoolers & better turbo's.d4 HSE in Corris Grey with Black options pack

Very happy with bluefin re-map. No smoke. Runns smoother, 2 L/100km better economy and shifts like a TDV8 after 3,00rpm. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Thank you all for your input, looks as though a re-map (BAS) is the way to go ..... time to start saving I think lol
