Chesterfield test

Time to test how good Gordon lamb are...
D3 back from belts service. Noticed service monitor wasn't reset. Then that there was no hot air to cabin. Then it dumped 2 litres of coolant. Local garage had a look..... Cam cover hadn't been put back on properly. Coolant pipe hadn't been secured in clips. So pipe failed. Great. Emailed them late last night. Let's see if they settle local garages bill, collect car, leave a loan car and fix for free. Suspect this won't be straightforward.

Sorry to tell you, but I won't use them despite being just down the road. I use Hunters, Derby. Always found them to be good.

I've used them for a few years without hassle.
Had issues with sheffield.
Bought the car from derby some 7 years ago! Too far to travel though.
Just interested in how they react to a problem, for me this is the test. Hoping they do the right thing.

10 out of 10 so far for Gordon lamb. Emailed and called me / wife early today. Apologetic and sorting it out quickly.
