Hello everyone.
My Disco 3 need a lot of love and I have to buy um scanner to understand the problems.
I'm in Brazil but my sister's in London until next 14, 2 weeks from today.
Sure I know all the benefits of the IID GAP, but the prices are out of my range. I just saw a uk website that sells de gap tools and the price is much more comfortable to pay for me than in ebay.
Don't know if I'm missing any information or if the price is really good, just want something to plug and use, with no other costs.
Does anyone ever heard about this site? Am I misreading something?
Thanks!

Oh, now I see the small letters at the bottom of the taxes, too good to be true.
Probably gonna buy a cheap one just for diagnosis the urgent problems, money is short right now.
Thanks for the fast reply.

I initially had an icarsoft before the IID, it read all the same systems as the IID but it does not programme, but i it was circa 100 gbp, which is under a 1/4 of the IID price.
I had it for a year then sold it for 5gbp less than I paid for it.

Thank for you feedback, lynalldiscovery5, that's exactly what I'm looking for. I know it's not complete as de IID Gap, but if helps me understand my problems, I'll go for icarsoft.

Hi Peter K.
This Autel 200 white is the little one that connect's with a mobile, like de IID? I couldn't find in stock on UK eBay and amazon.
I'm looking the icarsoft and there's so many models, the oldest version (930) is a very simple unit, I saw V2.0/3.0 which has a better construction, larger screen and probably a faster software, but my concern is worth pay a few bucks more for this.
Autel 200 or icarsoft allow me to bleed all the brake system? For the time parked, the brake fluid is dark.

I have bled my brakes (fluid flush and new hoses) a couple of time with ign off, I believe you only need the diag tool if you have ran the abs block dry?
Autel tools looks like it might be a subscription job?

Exactly. I just want this option to dry de abs system, but I bled enough to move the car to the garagem in the same way you did.
My car has a recall in the brake system, so I believe they will exchange all the fluid after the repair, not so worry about that.
My goal is read all the modules and understand what's going on, because I can't turn on the car to crank with the keys, only jumping the starter relay, and it works great (this part).
I choose this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333357564110?ep...SwufJdoF8a
A few pounds more but larger screen and extras features, can't be so bad.
Soon it arrives, February 20th, I'll make a new thread explain everything I did so far and introducing my Disco.

The Gap IID BT is £438 inc uk VAT.
That is the full amount your UK relative will pay.
I dont know if your country has a limit on goods brought into the country by visitors.

Yeah. I guess the limit is £400 total in new electronics, so I would have to pay more (50%) to bring to Brazil legally.
