Cheap fix rear hub ?( photo)

Trying to track down a droning that get worse the faster I go and after checking the hubs after a motorway run the rear n/s hub is hotter than the rest I am suspecting the wheel bearing in said hub.
Just spent a fortune lately on front discs, wheel bearings suspension arms ,lpfp so going for the cheap fix and trying a used hub .
So bought a used hub for £40 the price of a new bearing if it works fine if not I now have a spare hub that can be reconditioned while the disco is still mobile
Arrived today and I've just checked it over it's pretty clean as you can see , bearing seams to run smoothly with out play and the bushes look to be in good nick can't feel any play .
Will fit and let you all know

 All transmission oil replaced
3 flash indicators
All timing belts changed
EPB serviced
De cat fitted

Well all fitted and promptly came up with squealing EPB but in all fairness the discs are shot so will not try to reset the EPB until next week whilst I order new discs and pads
Once again any advise is welcome
Hot hub now gone
I have an iid tool and for some reason it won't let me remount or put the EPB in service mode
Cheers Thumbs Up

Is it still possible to remove and replace the hub and handbrake assembly etc without having the epb in service mode?
