Saw this Disco 4 GS for sale, looks quite reasonably priced. Might be of use to somebody looking for one.

Very good price but would need a very good looking over. A few years back that garage had a very bad name for selling low quality jap imports and generally all the trade ins were just as bad!

May well of changed now as we are talking 5-10 years ago!

Yeah I had a look on some forums. My mate bought a moon miles 3 year old XC90 from them a few years ago for not very much money and still has it, has had no probs. He says they are kind of fly boys but almost all their more modern cars are ex fleet company owned cars and as such have good histories. But as you say deffo worth a good look over. As the miles are not advertised I would hazard a guess that it would be on the high side.

They still have the same reputation.. Rolling Eyes
Heard a few years ago, they had crashed jap car's round the back and were building new ones from the remains, cut and shuts.

I wouldn't buy a thing from that place.
Avoid at all costs imho.

I just rung them and the guy said 130k miles, at this rate if we phone back in a few weeks the mileage will be sub 100k miles making it more of a bargain Rolling with laughter If it ain't broke... Take it apart anyway, how else you gonna find out how it works
