Change Halogen headlight to Xenon in 2013 Disco 4?
Apologize my ignorance, but have someone changed from Halogen to Xenon headlights
in a 2013 Disco 4. My car VIN is SALLAAAM6DA699287
This is a Left hand drive car, I'm in Finland.
The original lamp are P/N LR023187 (the sticker missing on the other lamp)
The Xenon lamps are P/N LR023538 and LR023537
According to Powerful UK this can be done, but before I spend almost 900€ for the lights,
I would like to hear someone done this upgrade. I have the GAP tool.
Thanks.

Surely you would be far better off by waiting for some Xenon lamps to come up for sale on here
They do not go for 900 Euros that's for sure "Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"

Probably so, but you drive in the UK on the other side of the road, so your lamps can't be used here.
These lamps I think buying for 900€ both are made by Valeo, so OEM parts.
But if someone have a pair of used LHD Xenon lamps for sale, I'm interested.
The question is will the car electronic system accept Xenon lamps?
We have had LHD examples come up on here, I'm sure.
However, ebay may be better as folks who've bought the wrong ones try to offload on there. Make sure you go off labels and not description.

I've been looking at this option too. It seems the lights will fit easily but you need to alter the cars CCF files using an IID tool for lights to remain on.Land Rover(s) : '10 Discovery 4

Hello again,
With respect, unless I am missing something fundamental, you can set the lamps to enabled for driving either side of the road
If we go from the UK to mainland Europe we can change the lamps over although I understand it is not so easy to do.
By my reckoning, you buy any pair of lamps and adjust them to suit driving on the right.
Just my opinion of course "Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"

Now I am curious ................... "Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"

I just know the D4 lights come in a LHD and RHD Spec and the OP is after the former
I can only say for deffo on 2011 lights ... there is a lever on the RHD units to make the beam "flat", i.e. cuts out the "kick-up" on left-hand side. I would assume LHD ones mirror that.
For later lights, I don't know BUT FL2 lights were "flat" so possibly the reason later D4s don't need adjusting is they are "flat" ??? Don't know.
As for LHD vs RHD units, it is possible that local requirements mean there are (different) LHD needed for some markets ?
Happy to be corrected if anyone knows specifics.

Hi
I have a D4 2009 and I have just upgraded my halogen headlights to xenon's. It was straight forward as per the powerful UK video. Updated the CCF file with my Gap tool.

Car with Xenon upgrade but only with sidelights on in this picture
