How do I change battery on key fob please?

How do I change battery on key fob please? Video I looked at says you can't so wanted to check on here thanks.

You need a solder iron to do it

They should charge when in the ignition

You will also need a new casing as they are sealed.
Look in the for sale section a member does a repair service

It wirlessly charges from the ignition barrel when the ignition is active, its important to use both keys from time to time to stop the batteries failing

If it’s a D4, you just open up the key and replace the battery .... CR2032 I think.
 I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Not sure what model you have. Can you complete your profile to indicate whether you have a D3 or D4 and which year/model etc? If you do this it would make it easier to provide information for you.

Is there anyway to tell if it is the key fob battery? Rather then the footwell wire splice issue well known which I did fix 3 years ago.

It was the splice thing under passenger seat, sorted thanks, was wet through though, soaking, any ideas?
