My detailer does these, from what I know, its all in the cure process. He uses heaters over night to cure these.MY2023 Discovery 5 R-Dynamic 3.0

Sounds like going to need a heated garage overnight then turning out to be a bigger job than expected. I should have looked into it in more detail at least SWMBO Mini will be easier trial on that learn what works best.

read more about this - needs to cure for 12-24 hours, and can't get wet in that time - most come with silicone protection spray to keep it pristine whilst going off.
Top off with SiO2 containing spray every 3-4 months or so is recommended, for hydrophobic refresh. Wax on top is done and not done with varying degrees of enthusiasm - some say it helps, some say it hinders the ceramic coating doing its job. I probably won't having read about it, and being so slippy it's hard to get the wax to actually stick to it properly.
Ceramic is a slight misnomer too, as it's more like a micro-thin glass coating - and hence the need for pristine paintwork to begin with, as any imperfections are sealed in for a while. So am now looking at buying a dual action polisher and other stuff, if I go down this route.....
at this rate, getting it done professionally might be a cheaper option, but only for one car - for more than one, better get on with learning how to remove swirls and scratches..... (also note that the professionals use a slightly different formulation, which may be little better.....)
