Central locking not working after egr change

After changing the left hand egr valve I had put everything back together. However when I go to lock the car the central locking isn't working. Does anyone have any idea what could have happened

tbh … I'd start with a hard reset and see where you are after that. struggling to think of anything you might have disturbed doing the egr work.

Just to make sure I'm not missing anything, what do you mean by a hard reset. Disconnect the battery?

Whats the battery voltage?

It might just be a coinsidence you may need to check your green wire splice.

After almost 2 weeks of checking everything I could, randomly it has all started working again. Thank you to all who have sent me the links that were very helpful.

Could just have been a flat battery in the fob
