Central Locking issue

Car is just back from dealers for 6 yr service but also for a warranty issue I had. The near side rear passenger door sometimes requires two presses of the unlock button to open ! Anyway after two days of having my car they worked out that it was my LED interior bulbs playing havoc ! Anyone else had that ? Intermittent fault but annoying. However funnily enough I got on occasion seatbelt warning light and the dreaded dong as well ! Will keep an eye on after firstly refitting original lights bulbs.

PS better start saving for next years service it’s circa £1300 at main dealers Shocked

The door lock actuators are prone to failure ive had to replace one on all my discos go far and have one just failed myself

if you look at the internal handle and the lock tab dosent spring out on the suspect one as far as the rest
this is the likely cause .. its a pig of a job to do unless youve done 1 as its very much a by feel job

plenty of videos and how too guides on here actuators are £90-120 dependent on if you have keyless entry Thumbs Up
