CD Player Track List

Hello, newbie Discovery owner here so apologies if this has been asked before.

When I play a CD there are no tracks listed just the blank screen, any reason why? Its the same with ones I make up, MP3 or shop bought. Is there a specific format to allow the system to read track names Question Pusser
