I love the auto wipers, best thing in scattered showers and after it's rained and a lorry goes the other way.IID, webasto software and workshop facility's available.

Very best thing I did with my IID was to switch off the auto wiper function I hate them with a passion
Can you switch off the auto rear wiper, but leave the fronts as auto?

I adjusted the inaccuracy of the fuel economy display and switched on the horns with the alarm.
I like these options but by how much was your economy display out by?

It was easy for me mate. I just looked at the instructions and then let the IID do it all.
I didn't put mine on a charger, but I did check the battery state of charge and it was full. It only took a couple of minutes to full complete.
Looks a lot better, so worth doing

quick question about the IPC flash: if I don't like the new look, can I go back to the original one?--

Well ive had aplay this morning as the weather wasnt much good.
Started by by putting a new battery on as the original one was past its best.Checked the CCF and it was already set to H8HD so all good there. Then reset the battery thing.
Next we went through the CCF to see what we liked the sounds of. First thing was activating the timed climate, found all 3 options that needed to be changed. While we was in there we also turned on reverse light follow me home on, and turned down the settings on the heated seats so they wasnt so hot. All went to plan and worked perfectly, as expected with the IID.
I must say how much easier everything is with the IID rather than the nanocom, they couldnt be further apart in my opinion.
Next time I'll update the IPC, looks good to me.
Many thanks.
Pete.IID, webasto software and workshop facility's available.

How do you know if you need to update the IPC to get it clearer - I am not sure if I already have this?
Also do you buy this from GAP?
Thanks.

What does yours look like? Stick a picture up. If you have the fuel and coolant temp areas with a grey background, then it's the older type. It's probably only 2009-2012 that will be the older type. I think all the MY12 onwards will be the updated type.
Nothing needs to be purchased from Gap.

I just did the IPC flash, can't believe I didn't realise mine wasn't the latest type!
It looks so much better, and now I'm about to sell my D4, so the new owner will benefit from it more than I will --
