Castrol Response DOT 4 Brake Fluid Recall

I just saw this recall notice on the Australian Castrol web site.

I assume this recall covers products sold in Australia / New Zealand only, beacuse it's not on the UK Castrol site, etc.

It may be worth others checking in their repective countries?

Anyway, best to check your workshop. God only knows what's in there instead of DOT 4

It's amazing what's on there, like the Range Rover Sport being recalled on 3 May 2006 for brake hose chafing. As it's the same chassis, I hope this doesn't cover the D3 as well??? 2014 Disco 4 HSE

2010 Discovery 4 TDV6 Base 7 Seat Auto Alaska White

G'day Jonno,

A lot of the major LR workshops buy the brake fluid in 20 or 40 ltr drums.

So if u are using a major workshop there shouldnt be any problems. D4 Alaska/Almond 2.7 TDV6 with E-diff & extra's..
