Castrol Magnatec 5w-30 think there is two kinds one has a1 (ford) and one has a3/b4 (vauxhall) not sure the difference but right grade.
Not sure if you can mix someone on here might help.

I believe the reason the supermarkets are reducing it is because the oil its self has been upgraded and their selling old stock to get rid.

That explains why Costco have pallets of the stuff at £20 for 4 litres. The Ford badged A1 stuff is the one you need, 2 x 4 litre tubs per oil change. BV55 YZE, ex G4 Challenge RRS. So not a Disco 3. Well, not quite.

3 Tubs should get you 2 oil changes, 5.5 - 6 litres per change required. 2016 RR Sport Autobiography

Try a different store if any more in your area, as they are somtimes different, i drive for them (a lot of different stores) so see some different prices, or tell them it is reduced in the Boldon store they should match it.

I cleared out asda north and west swindon of 4 & 1 litres today
BTW, for those local to swindon asda north stocks both and asda west only does 1 litres, distribution warehouse out of stock of 4 litres now so grab um where yer can but west swindon due 12 x 1 litres on sunday/monday
