When will the vehicle allow the cargo door to be openned whilst the engine is still running? Does the key have to be out of the car? Does the drivers door have to be openned? It seems as though there is a security measure in which the cargo door will not open unless one of these things (or something else) occurs.

If your D4 is like the D3, press the unlock/lock button on the dash (centre) or again on the fob; a single press of the fob unlock only unlocks the driver's door. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
