tell yer what, for the first time ever last friday I nearly needed new underpants and cacking myself thinking I was going to do the same with the trailer and a new bmw 325Msport convertible in the back.

Went to a place called Golcar, Nr Huddersfield, sat nav typically directed me off the main road, down a reasonably steep hill then it appeared to bring yer to the bottom of the valley. Anyhow, went through the traffic calming and proceeded up what i thought might be the same incline.

Instead the road just went up and up, a tight left and then right under a railway bridge, still kept climbing, thought Censored this, pulled off to one side three quarters of the way up thinking I'm going to burn the auto box out at this rate, just a fraction forward above a side cul-de-sac on me nearside.

Managed to reverse the trailer round and Censored me, there was an slight incline on the cul-de-sac I was backing into, so picture this, 23ft trailer with new BMW on board backed in to cul-de-sac, slight lean on it to the o/s, d3 broad side across the main part of the hill with a similar lean to the o/s.

How I ever got out alive is anyones guess, by the time I went back down the hill with hazards on, jesus the brakes on the trailer were cooking, stopped at the bottom of the valley to have a fag and thank me lucky stars I did'nt loose the trailer!!! Shocked

ah yes, i know that hill well. I used to do hill climbs on that in my 1.8 marina Embarassed when i was a student .....

I never understood why the engine or clutch didnt blow up. But Dad was paying for the running of my car, so it didnt matter !!!
