Have a Honda generator which works fine.
Caravan electrics works fine off hook up, works fine off mates generator, but will not work off ours. A quick look in caravan handbook and it does not recommend centre tapped generators. Why I have no idea.
So am assuming our Honda generator is centre tapped.
So what generators do people recommend for caravan use?

Er, Honda.
The EU20i and the like are for caravans, nice and quiet, don't know why yours should be different.
I use a Kawasaki but only because it has a 110v outlet and cheaper Member of the carrot crank club
Embarrassingly in for the 2nd round, bought another two
D3 Jack Russell carrier
D4 Landmark for towing duties

It won't be the generator that is the problem but the caravan consumer unit device which is also an earth leakage current trip. They are expensive to change but you may find that you's does not like ANY generator due to the way it is designed to work. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill.
