Caravan plug fuses
Is there a fuse box or fuses that relate to the White caravan plug next to the tow hitch. All I can find are the fuses for the towing electrics for the black plug, located in the panel above the rear left wheel arch. The white plug is dead after blowing fuses in the caravan.
(D3-2007/8)
Thanks.

Cheers Martin,
Now I can stop searching for a fuse box that isn't there and concentrate somewhere else.

Does anyone know what the wiring colour scheme is for the Grey socket. I am having to replace the socket and the colours are, Pink/Blue, Brown/Yellow, White/Red, White No5 and White No7. Any advice would be much appreciated.Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

Likely your "White 5" is actually "White 3"06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

You're a star, thanks. I did do a search and read a few on here and other forums, but clearly missed that one.Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

Not really relevant to this, but do you know what the wiring colour scheme is for the BAS FBH controller, the one that uses the 3rd button? I've searched (but probably missed) for it but no joy, I also message Pete? at BAS but not heard anything. I bought a used one off another forum member, but don't know what wire does what.

Went to plug the van in last night when collecting from storage. This is the state of my 12s connector.

Started to loosen the socket this morning and it started smoking. Quickly jumped into the boot and pulled the connectors apart to cut supply. Now have the 12s loom out

Some mess

Usually caused by a bad earth for the fridge feed return getting overloaded/overheating and melting the socket.

Bad earth in this plug Al or something on the van itself? It didn’t happen with the van plugged in as the van plug is totally fine. I’m sure it wasn’t like that when I left it into storage so I’m presuming it’s has shorted out on the car over the winter some time

May have been corrosion, (salt laden mud). I had a socket on a RR Classic which ran down the battery with nothing plugged in it.
Given the beginnings of a conductive path the material of one of the contacts builds across to another by electrolysis until a short capable of carrying a high current is formed.
