Caravan Electronic Stability Control

We have a Bailey Senator twin axel caravan and my question is, can I fit or have fitted, to the caravan, a Electronic Stability Control system and if so what one to go for and where to get it fitted.

We have a Senator and the come with Alko ATC fitted as standard. It should have a neon indicator on the A frame plus a sticker.

What year is yours are one is a 2009 model.

Cheers

Ours is only 2007, couldn't afford anything younger Big Cry So I think its worth retrofitting a Electronic Stability Control system, is there a system that links into the D3 DSC system?

We had a Bailey Pageant 2008, which had it as standard. I think but am sure will be corrected if I am wrong that yours will have an Alko chassis so it would have to be the ALKO ATC system and not the BPW type. Maybe worth dropping ALKO an email or your local dealer?

Its nothing to do with the vehicle's DSC. Its a separate module http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AL-KO-ALCO-ALKO-...35e5865e4f I have it fitted to my 2009 Bailey Senator Carolina and its very good.

ALKO don't have an office here in Ireland but I'll mail them in the UK, I asked the dealer I bought the caravan off but he didn't know what I was talking about Rolling with laughter (Only in Ireland).

Buy it off ebay and fit yourself. Its just a yaw sensor that applies the appropriate brake if it senses snaking.

This is what you're after.
They don't link to the car controls. It is an independent system even on the new caravans.

Always keep an eye on their special offers normally 10% off. Either that or sign up to their mailing lst and they email you a voucher.
