even if you clean the car properly and clay the paint you will still have the swirls and scratches unless you polish them out. As long as the paint is a deacent thickness it can be done
check out this site and its videos /links

paul is a god of detailing but it kind of defeats the object if you take the car to a quarry or a green lane the next day!
Good layer of carnuba wax is probably better than "supaguard" though
I saw the (Armenian) blokes at our local car hand wash filling up their wheel "weedkiller sprayers" from neat hydrochloric acid containers last week......be afraid!!!! "its probably a virus, you'll be right as rain in a few days and if you're playing sport try to favour the other leg"

....the fumes from neat Hydrochloric are enough.... BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Probably the work of the "health & safety risk assessment [insert favourite pet hate]" brigade.

our local fire-brigade often have car-wash days to raise funds. Quite cool actually as you drive your car into the station where the engines usually live and a handful of guys (& gals) set to work for a few quid.
Quite handy as it is just around the corner from me.

Now they just walk up to your car and prise off a badge! 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods
