So what sort of price did you pay in the end. Whilst driving down the M6 today, a lump of something came flying over the central reservation and took a chunk out of my drivers door Joined the BMWX5 45e group

So what exactly did they do for you, just one door, both doors? It all seems a little confusing Joined the BMWX5 45e group

I had a boonet and rear bumper done for £400 - that involved removing both and re-spray - took 2.5 days
Chips away would touch bonnet as dent caused by stone / wheel nut that hit my D4 was to deep and in the wrong place, bumper was caused by my careless parking
Perfect job though
So £600 for a door sounds very steep

I dont understand why some people need to be jealouse.
Why cant we all be happier for each other and the time we have on this earth.
I believe in KARMA so what goes around comes around.

.....as to how big the damage is....
the local guy around here (called TopGun ! I have seen correct some considerable damage...
he usually works for the dealerships correcting delivery damage (also works in conjunction with the local Dent Devil)
I would be loathe to do a whole panel if It could be done locally...& I mean this not as a cost down but separate panels painted often "show" in the right light conditions.
Ask around a bit & ask who works at the local Jag / LR dealers they generally have this sussed out. BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

It's not huge but I did ask that specific question and all three said no, including the chips away guy who I have used in the past.
I did ask the dealer where I got the car who they used and they just have their own body shop at a different branch, where we have just had a bad experience so that was out straight away, as for the rest of the Glasgow dealers they are as useful as chocolate fire guards! Joined the BMWX5 45e group
