My used D4 didn't come with one, or if it did it remains well hidden, so I ended up buying one as I gave up waiting for my dealer to provide one.Andy

looks like I was not going mad, I went to the dealer yesterday and all the technicians tried and none of them could reset it! They have orrdered me a complete new device to be fitted on Tuesday.

Mine is a March 2015 Discovery SE Tec and was not supplied with a yellow mis-fuel reset tool.
So I acquired one and immediately broke it whilst trying to get the mis- fuel flap back.
I then found out the new models do not have a yellow 'thingy' and that the fuel filler has a permanent mis-fuelling flap across the filler.
The diesel nozzle at garages will push past the inner flap but if you want to fill from a can then you have to find the little 'funnel' now supplied with all the new models.
This also pushes the mis-fuel flap back allowing you to fill from a can of non diesel pump nozzle size.

Glad I came across this thread, I would been looking for a yellow thingy as well, when we got the car I noticed the funnel and wondered what it was for then forgot all about it
Thanks EMcC

It may be different now, I bought mine in March, but my agent didn't know about the funnel as when I contacted them about the missing yellow 'thingy' they sent me one.
That was the one I broke trying to move the anti-misfuelling flap.

My car registered March 15 did not have the yellow gadget.
Contacted my dealer who said he would send me one but when he checked he found out that they are no longer necessary.
I found a supplement sheet in my handbook referring to this and the small funnel.2015 D4 HSE in Corris Grey
