I can't for the life of me figure out what this cable is for

I can't for the life of me figure out what this cable is for

I feel this is going to be a huge durrrr moment for me.. I'm even pretty sure I figured out what it was a few days ago but I'm at a loss..

Had the body off and all back together now with relative success less the missing brake pad connector front right which is no doubt trapped somewhere nasty never to be seen again (oh well)

But at the rear of the car is this cable pictured below, very close to the EPB wiring.. Its 4 wires, not speed or pad sensor.

Can someone put me out of my misery please. I cant think whats missing and I dont have anything to put back. So confused. Thanks

But it's so clean!!! I was almost certain it must had been plugged in to something. Cheers Mikey.

And just out of interest, what are all these definitely redundant cables for? 1 each corner then block behind rh headlight?

4 grey connectors are tyre pressure monitor

There is only 1’brake pad sensor at front
And 1 at rear
