Cannot update profile - password does not match database |
|
Hi,
Having got delivery of my D4, I am trying to update my forum profile but I get a 'password does not match the one stored in database' error. I have verified my password by logging out and in again and it is correct. How can I solve this?
Thanks.

Were you trying this from a mobile phone? Android Chrome browser tends to autopopulate the password field on the profile update page with your email address instead of your password. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Al, your avatar is frightening. Can we have one of the I'd ones back, please? Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Has DG stripped to his grundies again?
There's no stopping him once he gets into his moderator's all-seeing stare mode. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
