I has mine in to Team Valley Land Rover last month for some warranty stuff. It was handed back to me with the stop/start not working. 
Happy. Not asking any questions.

I've only just got mine with stop/start, but already found that if I just fractionally lift my foot off the brake pedal, the engine restarts but the car doesnt move - seems to be the easist way to keep the engine running

had a disco sport for a day while mine was being serviced, and strangely you had to turn it ON!!!!
