|
Keep looking at late D4s and trying to future proof myself so really want an adblue version but not sure when they first came out?
Thank you

Towards the end of 2015. Therefore some but very few 15 plates but 65 plates on are adblue versions I believe. Emissions are 203gms, euro5 Discos with stop/start are 213gms.

I’ve seen EU5’s on a 65 plate.
EU6 has DEF- diesel exhaust fluid (Adblue) and easy to check, as the blue filler cap is next to the diesel cap.
All 16 and 66 plates will be EU6

I’ve seen EU5’s on a 65 plate.
These were possibly commercial variants. A couple of 15 plate euro6 presently on LR Approved Used.

It’s an odd thing that there are really are some 65 plates that are EU5, as it EU6 was a requirement from 1/9/15 when the 65 plate came out.
You’ll find a very few late 15 plates with it.
I was very conscious of this at the time as I bought a new one that was due to be registered in July 15 and that was EU6, but there was a mistake on the order and it has to be reordered and registered in Sept as an EU6.
Certainly, production from July 15 was EU6, but beware the old stock that was still being registered late. 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Yeah, I guess some EU5's were hanging about unregistered and they ended up on a 65 plate. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Euro 6 versions were built from June 2015 by LR.
From 1st January 2015, all newly introduced vehicles must meet Euro 6 standards. This includes any new models on the market.
Vehicles already on sale must comply with Euro 6 by 1st September 2015, but;
Individual vehicles already on sale that were built by, and dispatched from, the manufacturer before 1st June 2015 can continue to be sold until 1st September 2016. However, the manufacturer must apply for derogation in these instances.
