4x4 info Compass?
I recently activated the 4x4 info using my new IIDBT. I notice there is a compass function in the bottom right corner of the screen, but if I press it, it just says 'compass not available'.
Do I need to activate something else, or is there something to add (hardware)?Richard

I may be wrong here, but compass only comes on if you are if you're using off road tracking or something like that I'll have a play with mine later and see if I can remember Iggy/Ieuan

Iggy is correct. The nav has to be in Off Road mode prior to going into 4x4 info.

Right, sorted it
Firstly you need to be in "Off Road" navigation, here's the view you're currently seeing when you select compass:

To get into Off road nav, hit the button the the left of the above pic and it will give you the option to choose 'Off road Navigation'
Then go back to your 4x4 screen and you'll now see the compass:

Thanks Chaps! Sorted. I guess I can leave the nav in off road mode, as I rarely use it. Then I can see the compass?
