Depends how much you want to spend. £800-odd quid will get you a nice Ifor Williams 6' x 4', light enough to be moved around unladen by hand, plenty of space for the camping kit and with the added versatility of a ramp tailgate should you ever be tempted by a quad, motor bike or something like that.
I don't have personal experience, but I imagine the small Halfords-style trailers would add so little to the capacity of a Disco as to be hardly worth the hassle. May be easier to go for a roof box.

I had a home made wooden box trailer but outgrew it with all the crap we take when "glamping" so ended up with a sankey based on the load carrying ability, Robustnest, security and price.
For 350 I got my sankey, locking hinged top and NATO pintle to tow it with.
Easy to move even when fully loaded, the only thing I don't like are having to manually over ride the brakes when you want to reverse.2014 D4 XS

Out of the small garden trailers the Brenderup gets my vote, 13" wheels on all but one model, wouldn't touch the Erde or Maybole type that Halfords sell, you would do better converting a wheelbarrow.
Just sold the Brenderup that I had a month having moved in to a D4 as I didn't need it.
